Embers 8
Boltz Middle School had a building fire prior to its opening in 1972. Because of such, the school mascot is a Phoenix to represent rising from the ashes.
In 2018, the once vibrant and large early morning choir had eight female members. An ember is a smolduring reminant of a fire. However, embers can be carried by the wind and spark a fire where they land. Many large wildfires have been caused by such embers. It is with this hope that Embers 8 was named: something small with potential to ignite something great. The number 8 will always remain in honor of the eight founding members of the group, regardless of how many girls are in this choir at the time. Founding members: Gaia Bachar, Elena Crooks, Katie Curtis, Claudia Giebler, Lexus Hanson, Emily Read, Aurora Spencer, and Savannah Swain. Artwork Logo by Hannah Wood |
